The catch with a ranking
A cheap average doesn’t mean cheap for you. Agile only wins if you can move your usage; Go only wins if you charge overnight. This list ranks the rate, not the fit.

How the ranking is worked outRead more
Rates are profile-weighted across half-hour slots over the last complete calendar month, on the typical single-rate household pattern. The standing charge is carried separately and never folded into the unit rate, because the two are billed differently.

Why some standing charges say “unknown”Read more
A standing charge published as exactly zero could be genuine or a gap in the supplier’s feed, and the data carries no flag to tell them apart. The difference is worth roughly £163 a year, so we say unknown rather than free.
