Postcode Lookups
When you enter a postcode to find your region, we send it to the Octopus Energy API to determine your electricity distribution region. We do not store postcodes on our servers. Your browser may store recently searched postcodes in session storage for convenience, but this data remains on your device only.
Session Storage
We use browser session storage to remember your region preferences during your browsing session. This data is stored locally on your device and is automatically deleted when you close your browser.
Server Logs
Our hosting provider (Netlify) may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser types, and page requests. These logs are used solely for system administration, security, and performance monitoring.
Data We Do NOT Collect

- Octopus Energy account credentials
- Electricity consumption data

Third-Party Services
Octopus Energy API
We fetch electricity pricing data from the Octopus Energy public API. When you search for a postcode, your request is sent to Octopus Energy's servers. Please refer to Octopus Energy's privacy policy for information about their data practices.

Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal information to access, modify, or delete. Session storage data is under your control and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
