Private comparison
Compare private electricity usage against published tariffs

How it works
Your browser connects directly to Octopus Energy from this browser over HTTPS. This site does not receive your API key, account number, MPAN, meter serials, or raw consumption payload. JavaScript is required because the private account interaction stays in the browser.
The default selection is the last 28 complete London days. You can compare between 1 and 366 complete London days, and only complete days with full usage coverage are included in any ranking.
Deltas are shown only when the selected supply's exact current product can be matched by exact product code. If its rates must be loaded directly from Octopus, that current tariff is used only as the baseline and is not added to the switchable ranking. Restricted tariffs and eligibility notes remain visible, but they are not endorsements that you can switch to them.
Worked example
If a private window contains 10 kWh across two complete London days, one published replay might estimate Cosy at £2.60, Agile at £2.69, and a flat 20p tariff at £2.80 for the same usage.
The monthly breakdown keeps those same complete days grouped by London calendar month, so a window that crosses August into September still shows each month's energy, standing charge, and total separately.
Limitations
Every result is an estimate, not a bill or quote. The replay uses one standing-charge scalar per tariff across the whole window, so historic standing-charge changes are approximate rather than bill-accurate.
This comparison does not reproduce dispatch overrides, discounts, exit fees, supplier-specific rounding, export credits, or billing adjustments. Need to inspect usage patterns first?
