Material changes
Charge Pack
What changed: Octopus added dated version 1.0 terms for Charge Pack, describing it as a smart battery feature with controlled sessions and compensation rules.
Why it matters here: Charge Pack is an add-on over compatible import and export tariffs, so its session credits cannot be represented as one regional unit-rate family.

Flexible Octopus and variable smart tariffs
What changed: The July price-cap period began. Octopus explained that Flexible and variable smart-tariff prices would rise for the period, while existing fixed prices and wholesale-linked Agile or Tracker behave differently.
Why it matters here: A current regional rate and product version should be used; an older national average or fixed-tariff figure is not a substitute.

Domestic electricity and gas tariffs
What changed: Octopus applied announced policy-cost reductions from 1 April, including automatic reductions described for fixed, Flexible, Agile and Tracker customers.
Why it matters here: Historic comparisons must use rates effective on each date rather than applying today’s formula or unit rate to earlier consumption.
