Unlike time-of-use tariffs, Flexible Octopus charges the same rate whether you use electricity at 3am or 3pm, so there is no peak or off-peak to track and bills stay predictable. As a standard variable tariff, Flexible Octopus is subject to Ofgem's price cap, which means your rates can't exceed the maximum set by the regulator. Rates are reviewed quarterly, you get advance notice of changes, and there are no fixed terms or exit fees.
