Similar names, different geographies
A GSP group is used for electricity tariff regions. An Ofgem price-cap region is a separate regulatory mapping, even where its label looks similar. A distribution licence area describes a network operator's area, while a TNUoS demand zone is the transmission charging geography.
We do not treat distribution licence areas or TNUoS zones as GSP groups without a verified crosswalk. Northern Ireland is excluded because it is a separate electricity market and has no Great Britain GSP group.
