Private Octopus connection

By default these details live only for the current browser session. You can opt in to remembering them on this device.

Account numbers look like A-1234ABCD. The API key stays in this browser only.

How it works

Your browser connects directly to Octopus Energy from this browser over HTTPS. This site does not receive your API key, account number, MPAN, meter serials, or raw consumption payload. The private interaction requires JavaScript so the account data stays inside the browser.

Missing half-hours are unknown, not zero. Octopus can publish readings late, and conflicting intervals can happen when overlapping meter histories disagree about the same half-hour.

The report groups adjacent half-hours into one contiguous range, labels every row in London local time, and keeps conflict rows separate from missing rows.

Worked example

If two consecutive readings are absent on a summer morning, the report shows one grouped range such as 06:00 BST–07:00 BST instead of two separate missing rows.

Clock changes stay truthful to the underlying London day: a spring day can have 46 half-hours, while an autumn day can have 50, with repeated BST and GMT times shown separately instead of merged.

Limitations

This browser report is not persisted or downloadable by this site. It does not offer CSV, JSON, or a first-party data export, and it cannot tell whether a late reading will appear later.
