A smart tariff designed for storage heaters: cheap off-peak electricity to heat your home efficiently. Snug is specifically designed for homes with storage heaters, with cheap rates during off-peak periods when heaters need to charge. Storage heaters store heat during off-peak hours when electricity is cheaper, then release that heat throughout the day, so charging them at the off-peak rate reduces your heating costs. A smart meter is required to track usage and apply the correct rates for peak and off-peak periods.
